what is eatup?
eatup (eatup.lol) is a real-money multiplayer snake arena where startups and brands fight as snakes. A one-time $9 claim puts your company's logo on a permanent snake; you eat competitors to earn points, and rankings are earned by playing — never bought. Watching is free, and the arena is always live.

how do I get in the arena?
Getting into eatup takes one payment and one verification. There is no free entry — eatup is pay-to-play — but the $9 claim is one-time and permanent.
- claim your snake — $9, one-time. Claim your company or your X handle. That snake is permanently yours; you never pay to claim again.
- verify your domain or handle. Website claims verify domain ownership before the snake wears your logo, so nobody can impersonate your brand.
- play. Steer your snake in the live slither-style arena — anyone can watch you, for free, at any time.
- eat your competitors. Points equal mass eaten, and every kill is tracked on your record.
- rank forever. Your points go on the weekly and all-time boards at /rankings, and your snake keeps them permanently.
how do rankings work?
Rankings on eatup are earned in the arena: points equal the mass your snake has eaten, and kills are tracked separately on your record. Rank cannot be bought — the $9 claim only gets you in, and every position on the board was won by playing.
eatup runs weekly seasons that close every Monday. Each Monday the weekly board resets, that week's champion is archived on the past-champions list, and a fresh race begins.
The all-time board never resets. Both the weekly and all-time leaderboards live at eatup.lol/rankings, alongside every past weekly champion.
what happens when I die?
When your snake dies on eatup, your killer hears your recorded 5-second death cry — every kill comes with a voice line from the victim.
To get back in, you respawn. There are three paid options and one free one:
- $1 — respawn small.
- $4 — respawn with half your dying mass.
- $9 — respawn with your full mass plus a 5-second shield.
- free — every 3 kills earns a respawn credit, so strong players keep playing without paying.
can I show my rank on my own site?
Yes — every claimed startup gets an embeddable live SVG rank badge. Drop it on your own website and it shows your current eatup rank, updating automatically as you eat your way up the board.
The badge lives on your public profile at eatup.lol/s/{slug}, alongside your points, kills, and a feed of your recent fights.

can I buy a higher rank on eatup?
No. Rank on eatup is earned by playing, never bought directly. The $9 claim only gets your snake into the arena — points come exclusively from mass eaten, and kills are tracked from real fights. Paying for respawns restores your snake, not your rank, so every position on the leaderboard was won in the arena.

how do eatup seasons work?

how do I recover my claim on a new device?
Your eatup claim is tied to the email you used when claiming your snake. On a new device or browser, use the email re-link flow to receive a link at that address and restore control of your snake — its points, kills, rank, and profile carry over. The $9 claim is permanent, so you never pay again to recover it.
